● Freshwater Pearl Necklace

A long freshwater pearl necklace brought to us after the thread snapped.
Upon inspection, it appeared that the green stones originally included, along with several pearls, were lost when the thread broke.

As we have mentioned several times, if you miss the signs that your jewelry needs re-stringing, the thread can snap suddenly, leading to the loss of precious pearls and components as happened in this case.
"It was a gift from someone close to me, and I used to wear it all the time," the customer told us.

She hadn't been able to wear it since the thread broke and it had been tucked away for years. She then discovered "Pearl Hospital" and brought it in to see us.
"I don't think it's very expensive..." she said, but the value of jewelry filled with memories is not measured by price alone.
Fortunately, there was enough length remaining to keep it as a necklace, so we re-strung it using the existing pearls and components without adding new ones.
The design can be worn as a single long strand or doubled up. It is easy to wear daily and has a unique flair that allows for various styling options to suit any outfit.
Upon seeing the finished necklace, she was delighted, saying,
"You just can't find anything like this if you look for it," as she happily took it home.
