Ai Sano × Mori Pearl Collaboration Jewelry
"The Heart of Toyotamahime"
[Limited quantity]
While supplies last!
The works presented at the collaborative exhibition "Toyotamahime" with Ai Sano have now been made into jewelry.
This is a marble sculpture titled "The Heart of Toyotamahime."
3D scanning allows the model to be reduced to jewelry size with highly reproducible quality.
It is decorated with genuine Japanese Akoya pearls.
The inside is hollowed out and a D-ring is added, so it can be attached to a belt or other item in the same way as an obi fastener.
Initially, it was intended to be a pendant, but the piece retained its presence as a marble sculpture.
There is still some weight left, so it may feel heavy to wear around your neck.
You can carry it with you as a lucky charm, or you can enjoy it as a decorative collector's item.
During the finishing stage, we created both plated and non-plated finishes.
Each has its own merits, so it was decided to sell the non-plated version on Ai Sano's website and the plated version on Mori Pearl's website.
Please choose your favorite piece.
Both items are limited edition so don't miss out.
Profile of Ai Sano
Born in Tokyo in 1989.
2016 Graduated from the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts with a major in sculpture.
Her stone sculpture "Sakura Wolf" is included in the collection of the Tokyo University of the Arts Museum.
Using the texture and mass of the marble, she brings to life invisible things such as dragons, mythical beasts, illusions, and the spiritual world that humans share.
In addition, the Python series continues to pursue primitive beauty by thoroughly playing with the color, pattern, and texture of marble, which are all potential elements.
